Anyone with a good music collection can tell you that singing styles have changed over the years. The crooners of the 40's sound quite different than contemporary singers today. Those same crooners don't resemble the singing styles of operetta earlier in the century or earlier baroque or renaissance styles. This talk will look at some of the mechanics of singing and how and why singing styles have changed over the years.
